My cat jumped on the bed and I noticed these little white things that looked like eggs so I immediately stripped the bed covers and washed them..Im hoping this will have got rid of the ones on the sheets and then I saw what I think WAS a flea. Im mortified and my skin is crawling. I need to find out where to buy some Frontline online.. does anyone know? Also will this kill the fleas? and how can I now get rid of them in the house coz they are probably EVERYWHERE and I cant bear it. Thanks

  1. You should consider taking your cat to the vet first of all.

Secondly, depending on what the "white things" looked like, they could be tapeworms.  They are excreted through your cats a**s. They look like white grains of rice.

Flea eggs will look like tiny black specks on your cats skin.

You should definitely get a home treatment such as a carpet powder available at any pet store or grocery store.

As far as purchasing products online a quick search will produce many results.  The most popular are 1800pedmeds.com, petcarerx.com and drsfosterssmith.com

And yes frontline will kill the fleas on your cat.

  2. eww... little white things that look like eggs or grains of rice are most likely worms.

take your cat to the vet and they will check it for both fleas and worms and medicate them to get rid of them.

in your house, make sure to vacuum and clean everyday.

  3. Frontline works great - it will take care of any on your cat.  If you're worried about your carpeting and furniture, you might want to get some diatomaceous earth (see link below).  It's a powder that you sprinkle on, rub in with a broom, and then vacuum away.  It's all natural, no chemicals.  You can actually use it on the cat as well, but it's not as effective there as the Frontline.

I've been through this - it's not fun but it is possible to get back to being flea-less again!  Good luck
