Is there any way of transfering the affections of a overly affectionate cat from myself to another person, lets say my girl friend?

it should be perfect they are both overly affecionate and constantly wanting to cuddle. but then there is the chance they may cuddle each other to death. i am willing to risk it.

should i put cat nip on my gf's clothing?

should i put my scent on my gf's clothing?

does anyone have experience on this?

  1. Your cat just Loves you very much.  You can't force it to love anyone else as much as it loves you.  Being loved by a cat really is a gift from Bastet.

  2. I get crawled on a lot more than my bf...we think it's because I feed our cats because they always b*gger off once they've been fed.  Maybe there's your answer!

  3. lol if you dont want to cuddle with your girlfriend in the first place why is she even staying with you?

  4. why would you want to do that?

  5. rub your girlfriend with meat while she sleeps, cat will eat her. problem solved.

now go see your shrink, your meds need to be adjusted.

  6. I actually do have experience with this, as we have 10 inside cats. Yes we are clean people. We have taken in strays, however our first cat was from the Humane Society & was only 3 months old when we got him. He was my baby. He cuddle with me, when I left the room he followed me and he wouldn't leave my side. Then one day the tides turned. He is now my partners baby. She did something to him that made him fall in love with her more, mind you I never spank or hit the cat, never did any harm to him. Just something about her that he clicked with as he got older. A cat can sense so many things and this cat must sense better things with you and until he senses better things from (lets say ur gf, hehe) then he is your buddy and will still with you. Our first cat is afraid of men and can smell a man the minute the door is open and darts for under the bed. So remember a cat can sense anything. Even if your (lets say gf) is having a bad day then the cat knows it. Maybe if you got sick and the cat was by your side, then he/she is there to keep protecting you, they can sense your illness b for u and want to try and help and let you know someone is there for you. So until a chip is taken off the old block, it looks like u have a buddy 4 life.
