Cat problems please help!?

okay well my cat has been really sensitive on her back and it's been like that since we got her [about 7 years ago]. i've never really thought about it until now but i'm just curious why she is? is it normal? is there something wrong with her? i mean every cat i see loves to be pet on their back and mine just likes her head.

Every cat has her own quirks and idiosyncracies. One of my cats loves to be scratched up and down his back; the other one doesn't like hers scratched at all, especially the base of her tail. She'll let me lightly stroke her back, but if I pat it too hard she turns like she's going to nip me. I wouldn't worry about it.

All cats have there own special spot where they LOVE to be petted.   My kitten likes to be petted on her head and sometimes her back.  She HATES to be petted on her belly.  But my friends cat loves to be petted on the ears and belly.  All cats are different, your cat just has her own special places (:
