Cat question... please hellpppp!!!?

Question

Ok so its been days that ive noticed that my cats bottom (where she poos and p**s) and her body reallllyyyy smells. we even clean her butt (they dont have a butt but u know what i mean) after she uses the litterbox.but she still smells horrible.

she is fixed and the vet did a complete checkup adn she is healthy but i dont know whats wrong.Is it normal? do you think that she is sick? what should i do? please HELPP!!!

By the way i have another cat and i never had this problem with him!

I seen something like this on Tv, and the dog was just fine, sometimes it just smells lol. i guess since they dont have cheeks also dont wear clothes. anyways. they took him to get cleaned up very well and the animal still smelled really bad so it just came a everyday thing for the owners to clean the bottom of the animal.

This is normal for cats. This happens to cats when they go #4 too much because they cannot "wipe". It would be a good idea to clean under there once in a while. ope this helped! ;D

I would try changing the food the cat eats, there may be a sensitivity to the food.  If the vet did a complete checkup then there is nothing terribly wrong so I'd change the food.

Could be anal glands, just need to be expressed.  Smells awful, when dogs have full glands they scoot booty along ground.  My sisters' cat has smelly booty but it's b/c she's so fat she can't clean herself (not just fat, complications when she was fixed and stomach droops oddly).  I used to take her to a groomer and they'd wash her, shave her and express anal glands.  You can do it yourself if you really want.  And keep kitty wipes around for after litter box or the no-water shampoos for all over.  Look into groomers and try to get her to one to see if that helps and ask if they express anal glands.

Awe poor kitty. I would suggest another vet as well. It's not normal for a kitty to stink like that and any vet that says it's fine should not be practicing. Good luck. Hope the stinky goes away.

Have you tried washing it in a washing machine?  No, just take it to a vet and this stupid question there.

Your lady cat has an infection -a UTI or similiar. Take her to another vet or a vet that sees only cats (like the Cat Doctor of Dover,NH). You can scout around the Internet for a vet or call the nearest Vet. Med. university.

Could be anal sacs that are full and need to be expressed. All animals have these, they omit a greenish, brown liquid that is very smelly. Take her to the vet or an experienced groomer and have them express the anal sacs.

Deodorant??? No, only joking. Could be the food its eating or sometimes old cats smell a bit. How old is she?? You could try bathing her if the weather is warm?
