  1. First you MUST SAY WHY THE CAT WILL BE GONE!

OTHERWISE PEOPLE WILL THINK THE WORST!

    **************************************...

Try some ALCOHOL on one area ... spray on then blott /off.spray/blott

    Do it several times.

It works great on walls, clothes, carpet etc.  But I have never used it on a mattress.  I know it break down the enizimes that are in the urine.  So the smell will be gone... (don't know about stains)

Try it on a spot and see what happens...

THEN I WOULD SHAMPOO THE MATTRESS WITH A STEAM CLEANER... for a chair etc.

Natures miricle will not remove the stains and I don't find that it works very good anyway... it's expensive so that is why I went to alcohol.

Alcohol is cheap and works great... NO remaining smell either. ..it  will also keep the cat from coming back.

(remember it is flamible... so no open flame near it...open the windows)

    good luck >^..^<

  2. Go to a pet store and you can buy enzymatic cleaners that are designed specifically for this purpose.

The enzymes in the cleaner are alive and 'eat' the smell.

Be sure to follow the directions carefully, and allow to soak for at least as long as directed.

    Hope that helps.

  3. Hopefully you're not getting rid of the cat because of this... work with it and you may be able to fix the problem.

For the mattress: mix 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide with 1/2 cup water.  Add as much baking soda as will dissolve.  Saturate the area, blot it up, sniff and repeat.  It's immediate and effective.
