I am at my wit's end here.
If anyone knows anything about this, please shed some light!
My cat is box trained. 100%. Well, or so I thought.
When I first brought him home (at about 9 weeks old, 2 or so months ago), he went straight to my bed and proceeded to p**s on my comforter.
He kept doing it. And doing it. And doing it.
So every time I would take them to the dry cleaners (which, honestly cost me more to clean them that what I paid for them! what a rip off.) he would stop peeing on my bed. But as soon as I would get them back, BAM! He's pissing on them again. So, last go round, I ended up leaving the blankets at the cleaners for too long (time and money restricted me from picking them up) and they're gone. So, for a few weeks, I just used tiny krappy old flat blankets (not comforters) from my closet. The cat never peed on my bed once during this time (a little over a month).
I was tired of not having any comforters, so yesterday I went out and bought a new one, crossing my fingers he was cured because he went so long without doing it. He went all day without doing so, so I thought I was in the clear
UNTIL I WAKE UP THIS MORNING IN A PUDDLE OF CAT URINE IN MY BED.
Seriously, why does the cat hate the comforters?
Why will he only pee anywhere else except his box when there's a MFing comforter on my bed?!
I'm tearing my hair out here. He only pees on the bed when there's a fluffy blanket on it.
And I am not going without my fluffy blankets.
I just don't have the money to just keep washing/replacing them!
