Catalytic Converters in All Transportation Vehicles?

Question

Most of our NOx emissions come from transportation vehicles such as cars and trucks, but catalytic converters breakdown the nitrogen oxides into less harmful chemicals.

Are all vehicles manufactured with catalytic converters?

Do catalytic converters not manage to convert all nitrogen oxides?

YES... all vehicles made in the U.S in the past 40 YEARS or so have had to have a catalytic converter installed BY LAW.
