Cataract surgery?

I am going to have my second cataract surgery.Do the new lenses ever fall out or become old ? Would you be able to see without the plastic lense ? Thanks in advance.

  1. Since they remove your old lenses during cataract surgery and replace them with plastic ones it's safe to say that without them you wouldn't be able to see since there would be nothing in your eye to focus with.  

    As long as your eye ball stays in tact there is no way for the lens to "fall out".  It can get knocked out of position if you have an injury but the odds of that are slim.


  2. Most lenses available are rather superb in built.  Falling out of your eyes will never happen.  These lenses will assist you to see and you can't perform without them.  The pricing of these cataract lenses are quite similar and you should not be charged a lot more because of certain particular brand.
