  1. dont use your finger tips to catch it

make a triangle using ur thumbs and index/pointer fingers and bring the ball into you...like move back so u can give to the football

  2. I remember my football coach teaching us years ago.  I hope I can explain it good enough for you!

Hold both of your hands in front of your face, palms facing out.  Next, touch your two index fingers together and then touch your thumbs together.  This should form a "square" (or triangle) shape.  With your 2 fingers and thumbs touching, spread out the rest of your fingers.  When the ball is thrown to you, let the nose of the ball land inside the little "square" (or triangle) you made with your fingers and thumb.  Then squeeze the ball with hands.  Hope that makes sense!!

  3. id have to show you in person hun

  4. make a triangle with your index and thumb fingers and when the ball comes at you and then bring it inside your body.

  5. Yboth of your hands together and bring it to your stomach.

  6. W catch whatever it's hand-eye coordination and practice

  7. Use the force

  8. hold arms out but close to your body wrists up and arms close to your abdomen..as the ball goes into your arms...bring your fore arms up and hold it against ur stomach..if it does bounce..it will bouce against u not away from you most likely

  9. well you gotta be prepared for it and have good timing....and also what girls tend to do is catch the ball away form there body...this si incorrect...you use your body to stop the ball by getting in front of it that way if it slips thru your fingers theres still a good chance youll catch it b/c your body will stop it  hope that helps...not really an easy thing to explain withotu visuals

  10. Best you take up soccer.

Then you can go into the soccer section and instead of asking how to catch a ball you could ask how to perfect diving and faking injury.

  11. Alright, Jen, run out for a pass.

    Go deep.  Deeper...

You have to have strong, sturdy hands to catch the football, and a little bit of muscle to keep it under control.

If you keep practicing, every day--your hands will develop into a receiver's hands.  You can have hands like Randy Moss, Antonio Gates, or Terrell Owens, with just a little bit of practice.

If I were you, I would try practicing with gloves on.  That might take some of the sting out of it at first.

Good luck to you, and I hope to see you at the next powder puff.

  12. keep your eye on the ball and hang on like its a million bucks

  13. you cant your a female

  14. On days it doesn't try to slip through my hands. Yea, usually and I can throw pretty decent too, that is for a girl.

  15. take up basketball as you have no need for your hands in that particular sport

  16. both and out, when the ball hits just close your hand, should be a reflex to anyway.

  17. well first you have to make sure the football is not to big. Next you want to remember to always keep your eyes on the ball. It is always best to use only your hands to catch the ball. Using your arms and body is not the best way to catch a football although sometimes you have no choice. finally practice practice practice.

ps dont be afraid of the ball. youre more likely to get hurt if you are afraid

  18. Have your hands form a triangle. Just grip the ball rather then try to move your hands away from the ball.
