Catchers mitt worth $180???

Question

I bought a 2006 baseball express exclusive grey and black rawlings pro prefered catchers mitt. i broke it in a tiny bit with only a ball. no oil or anything. the next season i couldnt catch anymore due to my size. is $180 too much to ask to buy this mitt that was originally $260???
