Like everyone else, I'd try fish the dam or near it. It looks like there's some streams or cuts or something coming off the main water body, try in there if you can.

deepest channel in that river for blues and channel cats. you probably could have some pretty good luck below that dam. when catfish are moving they will keep going upstream until they are stopped

i would fish the dam! that's your best chance of getting that big one!

i fish cats a lot the best places to find them are areas where the slack water meets the faster water,the edges of drop offs.the outside bend of a turn in the river,submerged trees, rocks, weeds, fishing in the channel produces well but if you can find a hole that has a gravel or sand bar in front of it or some other good structure that will hold the catfish. try there.the best advice i can give ya is try any place that looks like it will hold cats.give it 20 minutes tops if you dont get a bite move to a new one.cats will tend to hang around the same areas day in and day out once you have found a good spot it will keep producing.good luck
