Cathay pacific re -funds.?

Hello, lets say I order a round trip ticket with Cathay and I decide I want to cancle my ticket and get a re-fund.

How much I get? If the ticket is 900USD$ how much you can assume I'll get after the refund?

  1. If its a 900$ ticket most likely it is non-refundable.

    If it happens to be a refundable ticket, then you should get the entire thing back. But it can take LONG time.


  2. There are many types of fares. And with each of those carry different cancellation and refund penalties. Most of the lower fares are totally non refundable. Those who do offer some refunds carry a cancellation penalty. Again, with each fare, there are different amounts.

    If you want to hold on to a fully refundable ticket - that is a full fare ticket. Coach, you're looking at around $4K. Then, yeah, you can get a full refund... less an 'administration' fee of around $100.

  3. Depends on the fare conditions of the ticket.

    Most reduced rate fares have refund restrictions attached.

    Any refund due will be payable to whoever bought the ticket and if paid by credit card will refund back to same card.
