Is there many roman catholic churches in Luxor Egypt?What about on the west bank?

Although I've never visited one, there are several large churches in Luxor, the most visible being the Catholic Church near the central police station - just along from the souk.

yes there is

1- Der el Mohareb       - 4 Km Port of west bank

2- Der Mari Gerges     -  west bank

3- Der eLShaieb          - 7 Km Port of west bank

I do not think so.

But there are Coptic Catholic Churches in the Eparchy of Luqsor (Diocese of Luxor) that are in full communion with Pope Benedict XVI.

well, i'm christan orthodox and from cairo

and i don't know any in (upper or south) Egypt

But i know very well that most of the catholic egyptians ,they're in se3eid (south egypt like luxor),...the previous answer by Jeff was more specific.
