  1. My first reaction was that it kinda sucked but it does make perfect sense.

  2. I'm not Catholic but I am Irish.  I find this total nonsense.   Who moved Easter in the first place?  More Church manipulation.  Sounds fishy to me.

  3. Makes sence to me, Holy week trumps a party.

St. Patrick would most definately want it this way.

But you can celebrate any day you wish......

    Peace be with you.

  4. GOD DOES NOT CARE AS LONG AS YOU BE GOOD

  5. Standard procedure for that area...but in the states were many religions are mixed together people are not that strict.

  6. It makes a lot of sense to move celebrating St. Patrick's Day back a little.

Bylaws, schmylaws, the Shamrock Club could change the date of the parade if they wanted to.  I applaud the action of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.  They are putting their faith and their God first.

  7. This is right and just.

Saint Patrick himself (who was a Catholic bishop) would say that the Resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter is more important than his feast day.

    With love in Christ.

  8. This is ridiculous! The bible doesnt say anything about it and what does it have to do with a good relationship with Jesus Christ?

  9. This is standard procedure.  No big.  Just gives us reason to celebrate it twice.  Once correctly and again with non-Catholic friends.  Woo-hoo!
