Catnip under lights?

i have catnip seeds and i want to plant them indoors. i have a standard pot and soil and miracle grow etc. i just have one question; i have a 24 watt daylight CFL (great for vegetative growth) and if i left it on from seven to lets say eight when the sun usually sets, would the catnip grow alright? i would put it in my attic which is pest free and stays extremely warm and humid. any thoughts?

A few small plants will grow under that light.  

I wonder, however, why you would put it in the attic - you ARE talking about growing catnip, right?   So what's the reason for putting it in the attic?  

And BTW, if your attic is humid, you might want to investigate why, as it shouldn't be.
