  1. There's probably nothing you can do about it except for pull it and peroxide it so it doesn't get infected. I'm not sure if they get baby teeth, but even if it's a permanant one losing one tooth shouldn't affect its ability to eat.

  2. It would be best to have the vet take a look,  the root may have been broken off and still in there,  could end up with a tooth root abscess. It is possible that the jaw could have been damaged.   Never use proxide in the mouth,  that is what they use to induce vomiting in cases of poisoning.  Call the vet and set up an appointment.  Then have a talk with your friend about the proper handling of pets.

  3. How did the tooth get knocked out?

  4. How about a vet?  Even if your regular vet is closed for the night there are emergency vets.  Your vet may have an answering machine message with a referral to such a vet.  Otherwise check internet/phone book.

  5. don't leave it hanging there, pull it out, if you leave it, it could get infected,

  6. First of all kittens loose their baby teeth between the ages of 8 to

12 weeks so ask yourself how old is your kitten? If your kitten is not in this age group you may have a kitten that has lost a good tooth not a baby tooth. If it is hanging in the mouth region you should take immediate care, vets are costly but may give out free advice over the phone

Have a good look at the tooth if it is just hanging by a thread hold the kitten and rip it out gently but firmly this will save you a costly vet visit it is important to do this so the cat doesn't swallow it. If you can afford a vet get to it and take the cat there now but don't always swallow some of the bullshit these animal doctors tell you some are so overkill.

so be careful and choose a good vet now kitten turn into cats and cats are more expensive and have more things go wrong with them  cat as they get older too. make sure that your is vaccinated too. All the best.

  7. Go to the vet.  If the teeth are extremely loose the vet will likely have to pull them.  This is not something you should do at home as you have no idea if there is any root involvement or not.  This is especially true if the teeth are canines as they can have very strong, deep roots.

This is likely painful and would require pain medication.  You have no idea how any teeth are damaged or if there is any damage to the jaw.  Your vet will.  At this stage in her life they could be deciduous (baby) teeth or permanent teeth, no way to tell over the internet.  Either way she needs to be seen by a vet right away.

  8. Status of the tooth, out or loose ?
