Cats eating bacon? stupid question, get 2 points or try for best answer?

Can a cat eat bacon? I mean I cook it for this guy(98 years old) and his cat comes around me a lot. Can I feed her some well cooked bacon or give her a raw piece of bacon? Just curious.
