Cats got a hairball?

he had a bad one last time and besides causeing our cat loads of unnecessary stress we spent £200 on bills thinking it was asthma, dont want to do the same again but my cat is struggling with this furball we're giving him laxapet, is there anything else we can do to help him get rid of it?

  1. Yes, feed him Hill's Science Diet hairball control food and groom that cat A LOT to get rid of excess shedding, which results in hairballs.  Trust me, I've got two cats that are having hairball problems and what seems to work best for me is the grooming.


  2. Liquid paraffin from vet........a small syringe of this for a few days will shift it.....works every time for my cat and its not expensive.......

  3. Use Laxatone Hairball Remedy. Just put it on your kitty's paw [about a pea- sized amount] and they'll get irritated and l**k it off. If you don't feel comfortable putting it on their paw, just put it on your finger. It is only $7.99 and works pretty good for my cat. It doesnt prevent hairballs forever, but my cat has hairballs mostly like every 2-3 months.

  4. Let him chew a bit of grass. It's the most natural thing that will neutralise the acid in his belly and it'll come up alot easier.
