I just googled this and came up with a few articles saying that cats don't have the receptor to give them a sweet tooth. Well what if your cat DOES have a sweet tooth? So much that she attacks and climbs all over your head and up your leg and all over the table any time you have cookies or whipped cream or ice cream or anything sweet?? I've never in my life seen a cat like this.... that's why I looked up about cats having a sweet tooth. Does anyone else have a cat with a sweet tooth like mine or is she just nuts???

  1. I don't agree with that website! My boyfriend let our 6 week old kitten try a little of his CHOCOLATE milk and now every time either of us is drinking while sitting down-she goes CRAZY!!!

  2. I have five cats and here is a list of weird thing that they like: honey, squash, syrup, pie crust, pie filling, spinich leaves, and a bunch more things that I can't think of right now! one even likes fruit better than meat! it is pretty normal for a cat to like some weird foods! They like the ice cream and whipped cream because it has milk in it.

  3. my cat does the same thing. well except for with her it's anything i eat. i mean anything, i've asked a question about her eating lima beans and i chose as my best answer someone that said it is normal for cats to be abnormal, just don't feed her anything with garlic or onions cause that's toxic to kitties.
