Cats need to get along again?

Question

My two cats used to love each other: always giving each other baths, playing, eating together etc. But after one had a litter of kittens and the other found out it turned into utter chaos. She cant go near hear without starting a fight and then losing it. I want them to get along again and soon. Is it possible they'll go back after the kittens are gone or can I try and attempt to make them get along now so the one doesn't have to stay in my room so she doesn't get hurt? The one is going to get fixed and put outside so if it doesn't work theres always that BUT eventually the other will be going out when fixed as well... :/ so the issue would resurface.

my cat had the same issue, one thing i didn't catch, are they both females? even in cats there is a thing called mother nature, "envy". if its a male then he is feeling mostly left out by her, if the cats cant get along leave each of them a special place, they will eventually get along after the kittens, if not then you might need to re encountered them and hugh them at the same time talk to them there very special, it might sound funny, but most cats feel left out once there buddies get knocked up, and there not in the party, they also get more sensible about being around you if your there special friend, for both of them besides family or your significant other, pet them at the same time, and try calling them as well, feeding them so they don't feel any grudge, against each other. its called survival instinct.
