are ketchup and catsup the same thing?

if so, do you say ketchup or catsup?

if theyr different, which is better?

they are the same.  depending on where you go depends on how they spell it and say it.  every brand tastes different though.  so go with what you like best

They are exactly the same thing. It's like balogna and baloney. To be absolutely correct you would say "catchup" for the catsup one. It's strictly a matter of preference, like

potayto" and "potahto"
