Question:

Caucasus autonomous regions?

How come South Ossetia and Abkhazia are the only so-called autonomous regions getting Russian recognition of their pleas for independence, while other wanna-be independent regions like Ajaria, Nakhchivan, and Nagorno-Karabakh not getting recognition?
