Caught between 2 situations can somebody help???

Question

I have been dating this guy for a year now. But I've recently came upon somebody that I think I can build a future with. The only thing about that is me and his mother is hella cool and we don't know how she would feel about the situation. My question is would you leave the one you have been with for a while to start something new or would you try it out first to see what's gong on????

You have to take a decision keeping in view a long term perspective for the good of your life and follow the dictates of your heart. You should have no worries about the relationship with his mother. That is likely to improve if the two of you try sincerely. As it is , you are now assuming that she may not approve your relationship with her son.

In my opinion, I would not start something new before finishing off my first relationship. When you start a relationship off cheating, it doesn't ever end good. Also, if you are having feelings for someone else while in a relationship, then maybe you do need to end it and try dating other people for a while because you obviously aren't happy.
