Caught in a time loop...?

Question

Jimmy's mother dies when Jimmy is four years old. Jimmy grows up to be a miserable adult, thinking that he could have saved his mother.

So Jimmy goes and makes a time machine for himself, he goes back in time and saves his mother. Jimmy then grows up knowing his mother, and being happy...

But Jimmy, having grown up being happy, and knowing his mother, never thinks to build a time machine. So Jimmy never goes back in time to save his mother, meaning his mother dies, and Jimmy grows up without knowing his mother.

Not having known his mother, Jimmy goes and makes a time machine for himself...

I think if we ever actually make a time machine... it will stop time together in an eternal loop. Don't you think?

yea it will. ive thought of that before which is why im glad theres no time machines
