Caught with pot kinda?

Question

I live in Tennessee. I just turned 17. this is my first offense, i haven't even got a speeding ticket. I got caught with a pipe with mostly cashed weed in my pocket. What will the punishment be? Probation or community service or Both? And if Probation is there a way to just get more community service a no probation.

They are charging me with possession of a controlled substance and Paraphernalia.

That little bit of pot is (depending on your state) just a misdemeanor don't worry about it too much.  You'll probably get like 3-6 months of probation and some community service.  Don't worry, you will not go to jail.  No big bubba will be sneaking up on you in the shower, atleast not this time.

If you're going to smoke pot, I'm there with you...but be smart about it.  Don't walk around with the **** on you.  Leave it at home, smoke at home.  If you buy it, go straight home after, don't even stop at the gas station.  Just overall be careful, don't do anything suspicious or you will get caught again.  I've been smoking pot for 15 years and never once have I even came close to being caught...just because I'm careful.

what eva the punishment, it will be light maybe 3 months probation (if that) or a few days of community service. nothing to worry about just man up and face your consequences .

promised yourself to never smoke pot again , go to the court or go on trial ,

remember ,It is against the law to be in possession of pot, against the law to have smoking devices for pot... but there is NO health and safety code section or penal code section that says it is illegal to be under the influence of pot.

You usually just get like a $1000 fine, or one year in prison if you can't afford to pay it.
