With the ever soaring price of fuel, I do not believe the new drivers coming out of High Schools every year are going to have very much practice time behind the wheel anymore.
I believe this is going to lead to an entire generation of children who are pretty bad drivers (practice makes perfect). Of course this will also have the effect of raising the insurance rates of everyone as accident rates go up.
I also think that cars of the future will come with more "idiot" controls (which have actually made accidents go up, not down).
Things like winshield wipers that come on when it rains, buzzers than sound when your too close to another vehicle, seatbelts that buckle for you, and cars that can park themselves.
Do you see anymore cause and effects that are along the above lines of thinking?
