Caused by Pregnancy?

I'm almost 13 weeks, and my head, shoulders and legs are killing me.

I'm having horrible aches in my upper legs and my neck is making me miserable.

I know that the stuffy noes could be caused pregnancy, but this feels more like sinus pressure

The temperature outside has been going up and down and raining off and on here- should i consult a doctor or just take a benadryl?

  1. talk to your dr. it is early to feel so crapy

  2. Consult a doc.  I have similar problems with pregnancy Rhinitis.  My doc gave me a spray to reduce the mucus and told me to take benadryl to help dry my nasal cavities out.  But don't take anything without your doc's ok!!

  3. I'd contact your doctor about the taking of benadryl.  I took tylenol sinus.  It cleared my sinus immediately.

You have to be extra careful what you are in taking.  Especially medicine wise.  I'd call your doctor first.  It definitely sounds like sinus to me.  Best of luck to you.

  4. Have you been to your doctor yet? The first appointment they should give you a paper on all the medicine's you can take. But no benadryl is not one of them. I know that sudafed is one of them and Tylenol and Tylenol Cold. I would try one of them. If it doesn't work and you don't have a list I would either get in to see your doctor or call them for a list of medicines.

  5. Consult a doctor.  I'm not sure if Benadryl is safe. It may be I really don't know.  I wouldn't ever take any medicine when I was pregnant unless it was prescribed by a doctor.  You may have the flu or something.  The way you sound, I had those same symptoms in high school and I had mononucleosis.

  6. .Leg and neck and shoulder pain are NOT caused by sinus problems or nasal congestion, so you  need to find out what's going on. Please consult a doctor right away and find out what medicines  you can take.

Are you sure you are not having an ectopic pregnancy?  Have you had a normal ultrasound?  iI so, this would rule out an ectopic. But that much pain in the shoulders, legs, and neck at 13 weeks is unusual..     Shoulder pain I've read is indicative of an ectopic, but it would be odd to find this out so late.

    Please call the doc!
