  1. consumption of fossil fuels add waste gases into the air such as carbon dioxide, as air pollution and it traps the sun's heat. The deforestation also contributes to globbal warming because fewer trees can lessen the conversion of carbon dioxide into oxygen If you want to know more, here are a few websites  i used.

  2. First you need to know what global warming is and isn't, because if you're asking about the current craze of  "warming" vs green house  effect etc. you should check out a few truths, primarily that this info is based on computers predicting the future based on possible scenarios. to date computers are having trouble predicting say the China earthquake or the typhoon that hit Myanmar. check out

for more info and don't buy into the latest sky is falling  garbage science

  3. The main cause is the combustion of fossil fuels. This gives off green house gases. eg. carbon dioxide.

Another cause is Deforestation. Deforestation is the destruction of significant areas of forest.

Volcanic eruptions also contribute to it, with the secretion of greenhouse gases when they erupt.

  4. its called climate change, since the scientists cant even predict it right

  5. We use up fossil fuels... producing Carbon Dioxide, the CO2 travels up into the atmosphere...

The rays of light from the sun have enough energy to pass through the atmosphere but after they have reflected off the earth don't have enough to pass back through the thick atmosphere....

They are reflected back to earth, raising temperature, melting polar ice caps and flooding low lying countries etc.
