Cavalier z24 or Grand Am Gt?

ive been looking at a lot of cars for my first car and right now its between 1998-2000cavilier z24 or 2000-2003grand am gt which one is more reliable which one is better MPG which one is nicer/faster. any other specs would be great!

if i was you i would go with the cavalier it was my first car too then i bought a grand am and i had nothing but trouble with that car and my cavalier still running like new
