The Uruguayan international has admitted that he is excited on the prospect of playing alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic next season. He insisted that there is great competition in the French league from next season onwards which is a great sign.

The Uruguayan admitted that there will be three big striker playing in the league so determining the top scorer for the coming season will be very difficult.
“I know that Ibra's a world champion, it'll be a pleasure to play alongside him. It's very good that he's with us. I hope to be able to form a good partnership with him. It's going to be hard [to be Ligue 1's top scorer next season] because we are three
big strikers and our ambition is to score for the team,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The striker admitted that the French league will be extremely competitive next season as there will be a host of teams fighting for the title. He is looking forward to the new season and is hopeful that he and his team score a lot of goals in the campaign.
"It will be very tight but very attractive to watch. I look forward to the competition. Hopefully we will be in good form and bring a lot of goals into Ligue 1,” he concluded.
It will be very interesting to see how the Cavani-Ibrahimovic partnership works next season. There will be great competition to score goals and PSG will be under great pressure to secure silverware after spending heavily in the summer.
