Cavs fans, do you want AI?

Question

Imagine LeBron with AI together. But who would you give up in order to get him?

In my opinion, give up Ben Wallace and Damon Jones/Delonte West as Denver will most likely need those them as they just traded Camby and they need a PG to fill in for AI.

1. won't happen. nuggs aren't tryin to take on more contracts, thus getting rid of camby.

2. A.I. would kill the clock and take the ball out of lebrons hands. and iverson is no spot up shooter.

3. Iverson has proven time and time again he can't play with another superstar player and gp deep into the playoffs with said superstar player.

4.Who the h**l would want to go to cleveland.

I would... I like Cavs and I like AI more than LeBron.. But that doesn't mean I don't like LeBron. LeBron and AI = What you payed to watch.

The Nuggets are looking to cut salary not add salary- A.I.'s contract expires after a year- Ben Wallace's does not and i am guessing part of the reason that Delonte West is considering free agency is to see if he can get a multi-year deal.  

A.I. and LeBron aren't a great fit either- both demand having the ball in their hands a long time- A.I. is not a come off a screen and shoot guy- he's a guy who likes to handle the ball- which also is LeBron.  i don't know if the two are the best matching- and i definitely have no idea why Denver would do such a terrible trade.  Actually i think part of their dumping salary cap is preparing for 2010 (when big name free agents are available) not sure why they would help to take one off the market- by improving his championship chances- the move does not help Denver- and Denver should only make moves that benefit them.

that trade would never go through.  denver doesn't need a useless centre in ben wallace, and a second-rate point guard in D-Jones or D-West.  they give up such a good player in A.I and they get squat in return.  

the nuggets are better off keeping A.I, signing a free-agent (or trading with that trade exception they now have) and push for a title when they still have AI in his prime.  they don't need to take on useless hard-to-move salaries when every team in the nba is clearing space for the summer of 2010, where marquee free agents like lebron, and D-wade come into play

I'd love it. Especially considering the one year A.I has left on his contract. That means LeBron has that scorer he wants and the Cavs may become a genuine favourite. And if it doesn't play out the way Cleveland wants they can clear up 20 odd million for salary cap space to sign decent free agents.

Lets keep our fingers crossed, but I don't know if Denver would want what Cleveland has to offer.

But LeBron and A.I together is a force to be reckoned with, despite the fact both like having the ball. Both average around 8 assists a game and could be devastating!

yes! iv'e wanted to see that ever since he was serious about the 76ers trading hin back in 06.

remember when lebron james was tired of being the scoring option and the playmaker. for so long he begged the management to bring in mike bibby so that he didn't have to do both. but in the end mike bibby went to atlanta, and the cavaliers had to settle for delonte west. don't get me wrong i think west is alright, but it's obvious he's nowhere near as good as bibby or iverson.

sadly the smartest thing to do is wait for a.i. to become a free agent. because if such a deal were to take place, there would be too many big contracts that neither team would want despite the talent they will be getting.

No!.... Daniel Gibson is the perfect PG for the Cavs!.... He can shoot 3's at clutch situations... Unlike AI who is not that reliable on the 3 point region..... Boobie is also a good compliment to LBJ coz Boobie is not a ball hog!....
