Caz Expresso to pair up wins through capturing the Jayden & Jacob Pearson Stakes at Peterborough
Peterborough will host the Grade A3 Jayden & Jacob Pearson Stakes over 420 metres flat on Wednesday, 13th June. Breaking out for the race tonight are Glenbank Man, Oran Galaxy, Everglade, Caz Expresso, Real Mcoy Boy and Oneco Duchess. The prize
money set for the race is £72.
Leading with the highest of the chances to conquer the race is Caz Expresso, Tyrur Hestor’s one-year-old black son out of b***h, Lisas Choice. His first experience of the season was to get drilled through the 420 metres at Peterborough on 17th
May. He accomplished the task in 26.32 seconds.
He took progressive steps through the three career outings, starting off with a third position and notching it to a win by the third career attempt.
On 24th May, he ended third in a 420 metres race at Peterborough. The race was won by Montos King who timed the track distance in 26.07 seconds and led the field by 6 ¾ lengths.
His second try was at the same race course on 31st May over 420 metres. The one-year-old finished the closest to the winner, Caz Hitch, who reached the other end of the wire in 26.18 seconds and led by two and a half lengths.
Finally, Caz Expresso struck what he had been trying for ever since the season kick started. He won a Grade A4 420 metres flat race at Peterborough. He raced across the wire in 26.08 seconds and led the 5/2 joint favourite runner up, Gan On Jim, by two and
a half lengths.
The runner up timed the distance in 26.28 seconds and was soon followed by the other joint favourite, Brooklawn Hardy.
R. Creckendon’s under charge is in for the second straight win of the career today.
He will need to look out for Glenbank Man who won a Grade A4 420 metres flat on 30th May at Peterborough. He completed the trip in 25.96 seconds and led the runner up of the season, Jingle Pine, by 1 ¼ lengths.
She timed the track distance in 26.06 seconds and was soon followed by the 7/4 favourite of the race, Killala Bound.
He might just upset the chances of Caz Expresso today.
