Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505 has gone on to admit that the Gunners need to start showing some consistency in their performances, if the team is to stand any chance of winning silverware this season.
The Gunners are currently sitting well behind the top four teams in the league, and with them dropping points in games that they are supposed to be easy wins, things just aren’t looking too bright for the team.
The team went on to lose to Swansea by two goals to nil this past weekend, and that result now sees the team sit in the tenth spot in the league table. At the moment there is a fifteen point gap between League leaders Manchester United and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, and if
things aren’t resolved in the near future, the gap might be far too big for the Gunners to catch up to.
When talking about the problem that the team seems to be having, the Spanish international is reported to have said: "We don't know exactly what the problem is"
"It's true that we're inconsistent.”
"I believe that, to challenge for the Premier League, these games can't get away from us.”
He then went on to point out the games against Fulham and Aston Villa, as he feels that those matches not only frustrated the team, but also showed just how inconsistent the Gunners can be, when they don’t play their cards right in a game.
"Take the Fulham game, we were 2-0 up. You can't then be drawing within five minutes. Those points aren't coming back.”
"And the other day, against Aston Villa, there's a game which I believe we really had the desire to win, because these are points that we can't let get away.”
The midfielder then went on to comment on Manchester United and the way they have been fighting, as he feels that they almost always pull off a positive result, irrelevant to how bad they actually play in the game.
"Then you see City, [Manchester] United winning on those days. That's the difference. To fight for the title, it's about taking points from those teams.”
It is now a wait to see just how the team ends up coming back from this loss, and if they go on and prove their worth or not.
