Cb antenna wire hook up?

I bought all the supplies to get my Cb up and running only problem i have run into that i can see before i start is How do i get CB antenna wire from inside cab out to hood? I got a hood mount antenna. I have a 2001 Ford Ranger Help!

in the firewall there should be a rubber boot on either side of the truck , u may need to drill a hole in it,or be able to move it egnough to get the cable through.

On some of the higher quality antennas you can take the fittings apart on the end of the lead. This allows you to go through smaller openings with the cable.

Some people just run the cable through the door-jamb area and up behind the fender to the engine compartment rather than put holes in the fire-wall.
