ok I'm asking almost the same question as last time. So, when I use Ccleaner with Gutmann 35 passes, and when it finishes cleaning it says, "Details of files to be deleted" ( Note: not files have been deleted yet) and below it, shows some files , ok so does it mean it will clean them after i restart my PC or I have to clean them somehow??

and can i find my history, without using any program to recover it??? and if i can how, and where??? Thanks for understanding!

  1. This is a basic security measure to try to make the user aware of exactly what they are about to delete. It will show you a list of all the files, and their properties (size and other basic info). This action will not be preformed until you give final conformation.

  2. Ccleaner will delete them immediately without a restart.

You should also run the registry scanner in Ccleaner and fix anything it finds. I use Ccleaner and I don't back-up the registry and it has never deleted anything that it shouldn't have yet. At present using the program on five different systems.

If you run Ccleaner it will delete your history and temp internet files.

  3. If you want all the files to be removed you will have to close your browser first because some files are used by the browser for your case the files were not removed but they were marked for deletion so when you do scan next time they will be deleted

sorry but you can't recover history after 35 passes
