Cd's wont work in my cars cd player

Question

only store bought cd's will work in my car. the cd's that i burnt on my computer just wont play. (the cd's work on the computer)

how do i get them to play in my car?

i have a 2001 honda civic.

try using CD-R not CD -RW the CD-R is the only ones I burn that will work in my 2001 truck

I had the same problem, when I started using high grade CD's, the problem corrected itself.  Now, for some reason, it will play on my cheap ones????
