Cd rom not detected. himy tray doesn't open on pressing the button on the drive, the cd rom is

himy tray doesn't open on pressing the button on the drive, the cd rom is not detected.i dont hear it spinning and i dont see the light. and i don't see the cd rom drive in the device manager!some one can help pliz
