Cd was stuck in my player in my chevy truck. i stuck a safety pin to remove , now i cant play cd's in it?

how do you reset the security code ?

Remove the radio from the dash, on the top or back of the radio there will be a 6-8 digit number in bold type.  Call the dealer and ask them for the radio code, if they are nice they will give it to you otherwise you'll be paying 100 dollar or more for someone to reset it for you.  When you get the code, hold down scan/seek and the number 1 preset for 5 seconds, "code" should appear on the display, type in the code and you should be set.  3 wrong code entries and your radio is locked out forever.
