Chelsea’s shot stopper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Petr-Cech-c29837 has gone on to claim that the Blues draw against Manchester City this past weekend was actually a positive result for the club, and that the team should look to build on that result from here on out.
The match saw Chelsea playing their first game under the management of Rafa Benitez, who had been appointed as the team’s manager, following the dismissal of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo.
Benitez didn’t get the best of starts at his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 as the Blues boss, as the club’s fans went on to boo the manager and already protest against him, even going as far as to claiming that he should be fired.
Despite what the fans thing, Cech is of the opinion that the draw marks an end to the terrible run that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 were producing off late, and that they can only hope to get better from here on.
"We've been on a spell where we haven't been winning games and we've been losing, so we wanted to stop that.”

"We played the champions, it was an interesting performance in a way, but we kept a clean sheet and, at times, we were a danger, so it was a good start.”

"It's never easy when a new manager comes in because he doesn't have time to work, so it's good to start with a positive result."The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Czech-Republic-c2882 international insists the players and fans need to give the Benitez a chance, following his tactical instructions
and allowing him to make his mark on the team.”
The shot stopper also feels that the club and its fans need to spend some time coming to terms with the fact that Benitez is now the team’s new manager.
The Spaniard has already admitted that he is not concerned with the reception he has gotten so far from the club’s fans, since his primary focus is to try and get the team back in poll position once again.
Nonetheless, it is now up to the manager and the players to prove their worth as they look to try and end their disappointing run.
