Cedar Point Labor Day/ Weekend Attendance??

Im wanting to go to cedar point soon.... Which of these days would be better? The Friday before labor day open 10-10 or labor itself open 10-8? Also how long or the lines usually on those days?

Holidays are always more crowded than regular days...I go all the time ( i live about 40 minutes away...cleveland area).

My guess would be to NOT go on labor day, i would assume there would be more people there then...Any lines are going to depend on a number of things... the weather, how many people are there, and which ride it is...there are the 'big hit" rides that pretty much always have a bit of a wait...ride the biggest rides(most popular) early in the day before alot of people show up...Hope you have fun...Cedar Point rocks!!! : )

I would go to Cedar Point the friday before labor day because the majority of kids around the Sandusky area are back in school by then, therefore, it will be less busy.  It's hard to say on Labor Day.  Since it is a holiday and many people are off work/school, the park could be busy (holidays are one of the busiest times for Cedar Point).  I know when it gets past when schools are in session, the weekends become very busy because thats the only time when kids can go.  Have fun whenever you choose to go!
