I am going to Cedar Point for the first time tomorrow and I would like a few suggestions... What should I eat before? What should I wear? Any recommendations for rides? I have never been on roller coasters before... and I get dizzy somewhat easily... Just need a few pointers so I don't throw up a lot or anything... they would be much appreciated!!!

  1. well just use common since for what to wear. it is by a lake though, so weather can change.

for rides, just go to their website and see what ones you would like. just remember, they look a lot scarier in person but you will have fun.

  2. What to wear- Tomorrow is supposed to be 78 degrees and mostly sunny, so shorts or capris will be fine.  If your staying later, you may want a hoodie to wear if it would get cold.  Remember, you are by the lake, so it's slightly cooler.

Rides- Get to the big rides in the morning before the lines get really long (afternoon).  I know there were times my friends got in line for Millenium Force before 11 a.m. and the wait was less than 20 minutes.  If you get dizzy easily, stay off the rides that spin (Witches Wheel, maxAir, etc.), because you are going to get dizzy on those.  If it gets warm, ride a water ride to cool down (don't ride Thunder Canyon unless you want to get drenched...very few people come out of that ride dry.  Snake River Falls you will get wet, but not as wet as Thunder Canyon).  Also, some of the wooden roller coasters are getting pretty rough.  I often come off of Gemini, Mine Ride, and the Blue Streak with minor neck/back aches just from getting thrown around.  On Corkscrew, watch your ears and the shoulder harness, especially if you wear earrings...my ears usually hit the side of the shoulder harness causing my earring to poke my neck.

Most of all, JUST HAVE FUN!
