  1. Stay away from the Demon drop, tower power, or max air. just looking at these rides can make the weak stomach turn over.

If you are going to do coasters try Blue Streak first, pretty easy wooden job from the old school days. Other wooded coasters are Gemini and Mean Streak.

On the steel coasters Cedar Point has tons to choose from.

Raptor, Mantis, and Iron Dragon are all pretty smooth 45-55 mph rides. Corkscrew is slower and not as smooth. The Cedar Creek mine ride is bumpy and should be avoided.

Cedar Downs is a must do for your first trip to the Point.

  2. there are sooooo many fun rides at cedar point. its really hard for me to choose a favorite.. but if you want a fun one that won't make you puke go on blue streak. I remember the view from the top was amazing!

if you want to look into the rides and see how they are rated here is the site:

    http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/ri...

  3. Millenium Force

    Raptor

    Top Thrill Dragster

    Splash Mountain

    MaXair

... so many more!! They're all good for different reasons!

  4. i have season passes 2 cedar point and just got home from it

ive been there 5 times this summer

i am a huge rollercoster fan and if u puke easy i wouldnt recommend maverick, it has a 95 degree drop and twists and turns unlike any other coster in the usa

the raptor is one where ur feet hang,

the mean streak, blue streak and gemini r wooden costers but blue streak and mean streak hurt... but mean streak is the longest ride in the park

dragster is amazing because u go 125 mph in 5 seconds and u reach 420 ft in the air

and millenium is the 2nd highest in the park but is a pretty good ride

o yea and i 4got mantis is a stand up coster and the magnum is a rough one cause it is 19 yrs old

  5. Since it sounds like you puke easily (?), I would stay away from Ocean Motion, maxAir, and maybe Skyhawk.  My personal favorite rides at Cedar Point are Raptor, Mantis, and Wicked Twister.  All of these rides are steel roller coasters that have shoulder harnesses that make me feel more secure.  The Raptor and Mantis do go upside down, but Wicked Twister does not.  When the rides go upside down, it's nothing real drastic because the rides are really smooth.  On Mantis when you look at the first loop at the bottom of the first hill, it does intimidate you a little, but it really isn't all that bad (if you wear glasses, make sure you remove them....I've almost lost my glasses on that ride more than once!).  I personally like all the rides except for Skyhawk (haven't rode it), maxAir (haven't rode it), Maverick (haven't rode it), Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Mean Streak, and Magnum (the previous four because I am afraid of heights).  In my opinion, Maverick looks really fun, but I don't have time to go this summer do to work and everything.  Maybe I'll try it next year!

I hope you have fun while you are there...it's a blast!

  6. Top Trill Dragster, Millennium Force & The Raptor are a must for me :) I recommend those 3 the most, but I really enjoy pretty much every roller coaster there.

besides corkstrew if you don't want to puke, my friends with weak stomachs avoid that coaster.& The maverick is a really good ride, except the first time i went on it, someone on the car i was in puked :( , & thats what you really don't want to do.
