Cedar Point ride?

For all who have been to Cedar Point, you've probably heard of the Disaster Transport, the dark, indoor ride. While I was there, I rode it twice, and each time before we would go up the first hill, a light would flash at the top and it would say "Overheating" I was just wondering if any of you knew if that was just something to get you worried about or if it really was overheating both times?

  1. i rode it too and it's just show... nothing to worry about

  2. don't worry, enjoy the ride!!!

it's just part of the ride, i rode 2 3 times and it did it every time, too.

  3. its says over heating for show. also you might have heard a mans voice over the intercom saying well this run should be good i just have to press the green button oh no! i have lost control you guys are on your own. this is just for show too its all supposed to be show

  4. It's part of the ride, that's why they call it "Disaster" Transport. It's had a lot of its theming removed since it opened though

  5. Haha i don't think a ride can overheat. It can break down, but it can't overheat since it doesn't have an engine. so yes, it was just for show.

  6. Probably really oveheating, your the only one who can see it though and your lucky to still be alive.  Really though, its just part of the ride man, enjoy in peace.
