Ceelo, open to further improvement in Betdaq Mobile Apps Nursery at Kempton
The Richard Hannon-trained, Ceelo, opened his account last time, and would be full of confidence following a tremendous victory. The 2-year-old is open to further improvement, and possesses a very good chance of seizing the first place in the Betdaq Mobile
Apps Nursery, to be hosted by Kempton on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
Prior to his maiden success, the son of Green Desert made a couple of unlucky rides. He was not disgraced on his debut at Leicester, where he secured the third place in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Maiden Stakes.
Owned by Andrew Tinkler, the bay colt could not raise his game after an early shock, and finished 16th in last month’s Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury. The novice learnt a good lesson from his two consecutive defeats, and bounced back in a
great fashion earlier this month.
The Academy Insurance Irish EBF Maiden Stakes (Div II) saw him bagging the big prize by two and a quarter lengths. After a convincing win, Ceelo is pumped up with confidence, and can go well in today’s clash. Alongside Hannon’s charge, seven speedy horses
will run for a handsome cash prize worth £3,429. The class 4 meeting is going to be kicked off at 18:50 GMT.
Exceptionelle looked a good prospect, when making a winning debut here in June. After a cosy success, Roger Varian’s trainee failed to carry forward her good work and as a result, completed the order of finish in the E B F Simply Cartons Sales Novice Stakes
at Nottingham. Despite a not-so-impressive effort last time, she should not be written off today.
Three Crowns’ maiden victory was at Windsor, and plenty of improved is required today. Tommy’s Secret had valid excuses last twice, but his confidence would have been shaken badly. Must Be Me was an easy winner on penultimate start, and return to six furlongs
would be a plus.
The real contest will be between Exceptionelle and Ceelo. The latter gets our nod, because he is in winning mood at the moment. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
