Ceiling fan switch?

is it diffucult to change a ceiling fan switch esspecially if youv'e never done that

if its the wall switch and you have never done it before, i would call an electrician.  no point in learning the hard way that you don't know how to change out a switch.

I agree with John B, if you want to be as safe as possible. But still, if you want to venture into the world of amature electical repair, a switch is a good place to start because they're simple. Just make absolutely sure you have the circuit breaker off before you mess with it. And make sure you remember what color wire came off of what part of the old switch.
