1. I know how you feel. My Akita is now nearly three and it still excites me when his Birthday comes round. Let's face it they only get 12 best way.

We always wrap up a bone and chewy toy for him. We then cook a chicken for the family ( his favourite ) and give him the lions share. We take him for a long walk and usually spend time on the beach with him so he can run on the beach and play in the sea. He is happiest when hunting but this is not praticle. We live in England by the coast so not much to hunt but he likes to chase and catch birds. ( I try to stop him doing this but dogs will be dogs and will do what they are bred to do regardless ) He has never killed a bird though.

  2. You could make her a special snack to munch on, or make her a comfortable and cozy bed to relax in. Spend alot of time with her, play with her... spoil her for the day!

  3. If she gets along well with some uf ur friends dogs why dnt u invite them 2 the park or a picnic and birng some toys n stuff and make up goody bags r treat bags 4 ur dog guests and u can all hav a great time playing nd i saw a sight that baked dog birthdaycakes and cookies (cnt remember which 1 ) :( but thats wat we did 4 my dogs 5th b day nd he nd his buddies had a GRRREAT time well tell ur dog i said happy birthday and hopefully this helped u :) or mayb gav u n idea

  4. Well, congrats! It should be a super special day since it is your first dog. I have 2 options for you.

1.If you want a really big birthday party and you want to spoil your dog, who's stopping you? Maybe add some balloons, invite friends with their dogs, buy a big birthday cake, shaped like a bone maybe. You could even give some loot bags! I went to a dog's birthday party and whoa. There were balloons, a seat for a dog, a two-layered cake, hundreds of loot bags and a big garden for the dogs. Maybe you could try that, if you really wanna spoil your dog. :D Don't forget the food for everyone! ;D Play and stay with your dog. :D

2.If you want to keep your budget okay, but have an awesome dog birthday party, you can just invite again some friends over with their dogs, prepare a yummy meal for your dog or buy a cheap cake for your dog and just hang around. It should be fun. You could cook food for the guests and their dogs! Play and stay with your dog too. :)

  5. um get a life?

  6. for my dogs first birthday i bought him a specially made cake from a dog bakery.

But maybe you can try and bake her a cake and invitesome puppy friends over.

Get some balloons and put them all over the floor so they can pop them.

Get a baby pool and fill with a enough water for them to play in

and get some extra toys and treats and do some fun and dog friendly activity

  7. For my dog's first birthday:

    1. I made him a peanut butter carrot cake.

It smelled really good because of the honey and he loved it. I almost wanted to try it too :)

    2. I got him some bubble blowers with bacon flavors bubbles.

    3. I took him to the park to have a long and nice walk. He got to poke around and smell wherever he wanted to unless it was dangerous.

    4. I invited his favorite neighborhood dog friend over for a play session. She got some cake too.

Have fun and take lots of pictures!
