Celebrities with tough upbringings?

does anyone know any celebrties who've had a tough upbringing and totally took a different path and grew up changing who they were as a child. (childhood experinces)

e.g. oprah etc.

tough childhood (abuse) and now she's succesful and helping others

  2. Oprah is one example. Problem is that many celebrities who have tough upbringing [Ex: divorce, parenting issues, miscarriage etc.] just gets worse...
