Celebrity Chef's Restaurants ......?

How many people frequent them because they are what they are or do they think the "Celeb" is present in the kitchen.

SURPRISE HE IS NOT THERE, HE IS AT HOME

WHEN THE BILL COMES STATE YOU ARE NOT PAYING THAT MUCH AS IT WAS NOT COOKED BY THE CELEBRITY CHEF.

YOU CANNOT REFUSE TO PAY

BUT YOU CAN REFUSE TO PAY THE AMOUNT STATED ON THE BILL AND LET THEM TAKE YOU THROUGH SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND TRY AND CONVINCE A JUDGE THAT THE ADVERTISED CELEBRITY CHEFS HAS NOT COOKED THE MEAL THEN WHAT IS A FAIR PRICE AS THAT IS WHAT YOU PAID FOR

Anthony Worrell-Thompson was the chef last time I went to his restaurant...and very good it was too!

I've also had Rick Stein fish n chips cooked by his chef's....mmmm

Me and my girlfriend visit them because its an elite chef has his/her influence on the on the food. I think people know the chefs aren't there but if you like them on TV you probably are hoping for the same in person. I have to admit that we went to Spagos in Beverly hills and Wolf Gang Puck came out and greeted every table but he didn't look as if he was in the kitchen cooking.

Hi RobboOne,

Many have more than one so they can't be in them all at the same time but has they have created their menu's and trained their staff then its the food that we go for to see if they match up to there hype.

I think people visit them hoping to see them, but at least say they ate "their" food. I know they aren't in the kitchen every night, maybe for a fundraiser.

I've been to 15, Jamie Olivers restaurant, Gordon ramseys, and anthony worrell thompson. I didn't see jamie or Gordon, But i did see Anthony. And very nice he was too.
