Cell Phone Number Change?

I live in ny and i want to change my phone number i have t-mobile...

do i have to pay to change it and changing it do u have to change my sim card?

Yes, you do have to pay to change your phone number.  No, you do not have to change your sim card in order to change the number. Just call T-mobile customer care and say that you want to change your number. They'll walk you through how to change your number.

i didnt have to pay anything.. your phone company may, but shouldnt charge you. And I cant remember if they had to swap the sim out.
