Question:

Cell Phone Number Trace?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

I received a text from an Arizona cell number that I don't recognize. I have never been to Arizona and know nobody who lives in Arizona. The message said "I know where you live". It's possible that it's an old friend playing a trick on me, but highly unlikely, as very few people have my cell number. Is there any way to find out who the number belongs to? I don't want to call back with my phone and would rather not pay an online site as I've heard the information is sometimes out dated. Any help would be appreciated as I would like to get some sleep tonight...

  1. here's a 100% free tool at http://www.unitedsleuths.com/reverse-pho...

This tool searches all the free resources online such as Google and Whitepages to bring back owner information including name and location for any phone number.

If it cant find the information for free, it shows you the best place to find it.

  2. You may be able to find the persons name, depending of the cell provider... most likely you can find their provider at the least and scare them back.

Go to 411.com or 411.ca and do a reverse lookup with the phone number... all free public records.

Good luck and don't worry about it... get some sleep. Some guy probably just sent a random text.

  3. type the phone number in google.

    6025551212 - like that.

  4. Your cell plan provider, and the police.

  5. Angel, it's called intelius.com, melissadata.com, abunchofotherplaces.com.  It's probably the same way she found out that it was a cell number...

Roflbear, I suggest you not provoke them.  If it is a friend, he or she will call back.  Don't contact this person with your phone.  If someone is maliciously stalking you, chances are he/she wouldn't threaten you via text message without at least blocking the number.

Nevertheless though, I wouldn't throw caution to the wind.  Be on guard until this is sorted out.

  6. Call it back because its no other way but paying online but got to yellowpages and type in the number it should give you information it does work or search on ask.com and how would you know if its an arizona number if you never been.
